Motion Sickness

This common ailment affects 60 million Americans on an annual basis. Whether it comes in the form of sea-sickness, air-sickness or car-sickness, motion sickness occurs when the equilibrium sensors in the middle ear become out of sync with the visual senses of the eye or senses received from the body.

Current treatment options include a variety of non-prescription and prescription drugs that have a multitude of uncomfortable side effects. The side effects are very bothersome for many people, and cause them to discontinue use or avoid their favorite activities altogether (ie. driving, boating). Furthermore, motion sickness drugs are not always effective, leaving people with the side effects and without help.
